In the ever-evolving landscape of senior living, innovation and efficiency are crucial in delivering exceptional care and experiences for residents. At Welbi, we have the pleasure of collaborating with extraordinary partners, and today, we are thrilled to shine a spotlight on one of our remarkable customers, Bria Communities!
Last year, we had the pleasure of sitting down with Tanya Snow, director at Bria Communities, on our podcast, Care. The conversation delved into Bria's journey of streamlining operations across their four unique communities. Tanya's insights and dedication to enhancing the quality of care were truly inspiring.
Tanya and her teams' efforts have not only streamlined operations but have also significantly enhanced efficiency across multiple Bria locations. By implementing innovative strategies, Bria Communities has set a new standard in senior living management. The commitment to operational excellence reflects Tanya's leadership and vision for providing the best possible care to residents.
“It's been a real journey trying to take four different communities and streamline their processes and operations so that we are far more efficient in what we are doing versus everyone making individual decisions about sites, which created a lot of duplication and a lot of missteps in some cases around what approach we are taking to resolve basic day-to-day issues.” - Tanya Snow, Bria Communities
Beyond operational efficiency, Tanya and her team’s initiatives have played a pivotal role in solidifying Bria's philosophy of care. The emphasis on personalized and compassionate service has become synonymous with the Bria experience. This dedication to core values ensures that every resident receives not just care, but a true sense of belonging within every one of Bria’s locations.
“The result is always about the person that we're serving being right in the center. So all the decisions that we're making all go back and ask the question around whether or not this is going to improve the quality of life of the person who's choosing to live with us. It's about the people that we choose to work with us. So we have what we call the Bria Way.” - Tanya Snow, Bria Communities
Bria’s philosophy of providing exceptional resident experiences ensures that to be a senior living leader in today's context effectively, it's crucial to actively measure and iterate on various aspects. The traditional approach of setting standards, neglecting them, or aiming for a single goal without ongoing refinement is not acceptable. Adaptation and continuous improvement are essential for success and will ensure your community stands out.
“You have to be able to be open to hearing the constructive criticism that people provide for you. One of the most important feedback I ever get from residents is after we do a satisfaction survey. As an example, I always say this is confidential, but if you'd like me to contact you personally and follow up on your concerns, leave your name and number. And people are always saying, like virtually 95% of the time or more, ‘I can't believe you called me back, and I appreciate it.’” - Tanya Snow, Bria Communities
